There are festivals and events all summer long, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Enjoy the “Hot Summer Nights” live concerts on most Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Plyler Park. On Sundays the entertainment features jugglers, acrobats, stilt walkers and more, Kids Carnivals on Monday nights, Wednesday nights see the amazing fireworks at 2nd Ave. Pier, and a strolling Dixieland band on Fridays. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is an all wood boardwalk that is 1.2 miles long, stretching from the 2nd Avenue Pier north to the 14th Avenue Pier.

North Section
The North Walkway extends from the 14th Avenue North Pier to Plyler Park at the foot of Mr. Joe White Avenue. It's a raised wooden walkway in a serene, peaceful and natural environment and beach experience. The walkway in this section has connecting pathways to beach access points.
Central Section
The Central section extends from Plyler Park to Eighth Avenue North. This section adjoins beachfront stores and shops and has a carnival and nostalgia atmosphere with its sights, sounds and energy!
South Section
The South Promenade, where Holiday Sands North is located, continues from Eighth Avenue North to First Avenue North, just south of the Second Avenue Pier. The South Promenade offers benches and natural landscaping with relaxing views of the beach. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade provides visitors with a pedestrian alternative to Ocean Boulevard, as well as an enjoyable place to stroll, chat, shop and jog.
